Carly
and Ellis, two big fans of rexcurry.net, wrote in with hilarious rexwrite
rewrites of Woody Guthrie's disgusting song "This land is your land." Ellis
and Carly are youngsters in government schools where they are being forced
to sing silly socialist songs. Here are their parody lyrics --
This land is my land
that land is your land
stay off of my land
or you'll be trespassing
if you want some more land
go out and buy land
cause this land's already owned by me
he he :) (sung to the tune of "This land was made for you and me")
rexcurry.net was happy to let the kids know that Guthrie's song is even worse
than most people know and worse than the kids imagined. There are actually
unknown lyrics that were not widely distributed. Guess why when you
read them, to wit:
Was a high wall there that tried to stop me
A sign was painted said: Private Property,
But on the back side it didn't say nothing --
[God blessed America for me.]
And if that isn't scarey enough, here are some more lyrics that were added later:
I can see your mailbox, I can see your doorstep
I can feel my wind rock your tip-top treetop
All around your house there my sunbeam whispers
This land is made for you and me.
CREEPY!!!! The song as a whole makes Guthrie sound like a psychotic skid-row
bum prowling the country and stalking outside your house. The song
makes everyone happy for the Second Amendment: "This gun is my gun......"
If more unknown lyrics keep popping up, expect to see something like the following:
Your land’s not your land
your land is our land
and we will take it
because we’re commies
