Dr. Curry's first debate victory over Gill and Hahn arose after Gill and Hahn participated in forum discussions concerning ancient and modern interpretations of the swastika symbol. At first, Curry was puzzled about why Gill and Hahn would discuss modern myths about the swastik in a forum about ancient and classical history. Gill was the moderator of the forum and as moderator Gill had posted the following question from a forum member: "Does anyone know why the Swastika symbol is tilted 45 degrees by the Nazi's? They also use clock and counter clock wise symbols at the same time. Was this due to negligence or did it have specific reasons?" Dr. Curry graciously attempted to assist Gill and Hahn by answering that question and related questions, because Dr. Curry's historical work discovered the answer. Dr. Curry's direct answers to the direct questions on the forum mysteriously disappeared. Dr. Curry contacted Gill and Hahn, questioning the apparent intellectual dishonesty in the forum. It turned out that Gill anonymously and without explanation deleted Dr. Curry's direct answers to the forum's direct questions. Thereafter, a debate challenge was arranged, with Dr. Curry against Gill and Hahn. Dr. Curry was the victor.
Gill is a freelance writer in the Twin Cities and her articles have appeared in newspapers (including the Pioneer Press and Star Tribune) and homeschooling magazines across the country. Perhaps, her debate loss to Professor Curry will inspire Gill to write about her new knowledge of historic symbolism, and share that knowledge with readers everywhere.
Similar to Dr. Curry, Gill is a lifelong student of ancient history. Gill claims to frown upon self-promotion, however, the following information is only a part of what is listed next to her photos at the forum: As an undergraduate, Gill studied Classics at The University of Chicago and The University of Minnesota. She continued with Latin in graduate school at the University of Minnesota. Gill's Masters papers dealt with the mistaken dating of an Oxyrrhynchus papyrus and the structure of Ovid's Ars Amatoria.
Here is a quote from Gill: "....I hope to shake the dust out of history by making it lively, relevant, and entertaining for everyone. In particular, rather than looking for sites that only scholars can understand, I am looking for sites that will stimulate a lifelong interest in history for children and adults." And Dr. Curry shares those goals. However, Gill's quote contrasts with Dr. Curry's experience in the forum that Gill and Hahn host, and where Gill anonymously and without explanation deleted Dr. Curry's direct answers to the forum's direct questions.
Gill has lived in the Minneapolis / St. Paul, MN area since 1970 and she says it is "a culture where people are so nice it can cause problems." It is a quote that contrasts with Dr. Curry's experience in the forum that Gill and Hahn host, and where Gill anonymously and without explanation deleted Dr. Curry's direct answers to the forum's direct questions.

Respondents who post off-topic insults deserve to be mocked with their insults thrown back to them. Therefore, Tumart: First, desist accusing Dr. Curry of simply copying and pasting webpages on this forum. Dr. Curry's discoveries introduced a topic for debate. This forum is not the soapbox for people who post off-topic insults. They may not simply wallpaper off-topic insults as posts or responses. If you paid any attention to what was happening, or if you were not intellectually dishonest, then you would warn the respondents to Dr. Curry's topic or gag or ban them. You simply reveal yourself.
Second, as you noted yourself in your response, the moderator of About Ancient/Classical History was also intellectually dishonest, showing the same failure to reason that you do. As you know, that is almost certainly because she knew Dr. Curry to be correct and she had no response, but did not want her forum to know the truth. You know this because she was specifically challenged to a debate and lost. Your comments otherwise are known to be incorrect. That is also why the episode is retold on a webpage. Tumart, you know Dr. Curry to be correct and you have no response, but you do not want your forum to know the truth.
The dishonesty that exists in Tumart's forum and in other forums does not go without response elsewhere. And whenever any forum moderator (such as Tumart) deliberately protects off-topic insults and deletes the truth, and prevents a response on Dr. Curry's behalf, then that moderator will also have a response on other webpages and multiple searchable locations where that moderator will be able to view that moderator being exposed and that moderator will not be allowed to respond either, so that the moderator will receive the same treatment in return. So long as you demonstrate a willingness to engage in rational debate about Dr. Curry's discoveries and so long as you threaten those who post off-topic insults (instead of threatening anyone who responds to those off-topic insults by repeating the insults back to their originators, mocking their inability to debate), then you have the benefit of the doubt.

You should have the utmost disrespect for Mr. Tumart as a moderator as what he did is clear, whether you choose to not look at it. As you note, people who want to hide behind their dirty work have the "right" not to fill out all of the information asked in the profile, this is the prerogative of anyone who wants to hide while he does his dirty work. Jennifer Rose Emick, consider this a warning- if you continue to conduct yourself in the way of protecting people who initiate insults and who do not address the topic, then you will be reported for your dishonesty without a second thought. Further, you have conducted the same grotesque conduct in that you have failed to address the topic. Instead, you are trying to suppress the actual topic and discussion by issuing threats against the on-topic remarks and those remarks that respond to people who initiate insults and that respond to people (like you) who protect others who initiate insults, while you also fail to address the topic. How intellectually dishonest are you? By your very own statement you are a fancy pants elitist. You are involved with a group known as "alternative spirituality" and yet you protect those who initiate insults, threaten those who respond to insults, fail to take action against those who initiate insults, and you fail to address the topic yourself. You are simply out-witted, you know you are wrong and you know that the only way you can save face is delete posts that expose you and your cohort.
You do deserve to be thanked for conceding defeat in your debate (and by the concession that Mr. Tatarize was also defeated) regarding Dr. Curry's work. Due to your comments after your loss, you will be treated in a reciprocal manner. If you continue to conduct yourself in that way, then you will not be allowed to respond to the debate victory announcement in the forums where it will be posted and you will not even be informed of those forums, and any attempts by you to respond will be dropped without a second thought.
