The original pledge began with a military salute that then stretched out toward the flag. In actual use, the second part of the gesture was performed with a straight arm and palm down by children casually performing the forced ritual chanting.  Professor Curry showed that, due to the way that both gestures were used sequentially in the pledge, the military salute led to the Nazi salute. This photograph is often used in lectures at government schools and universities. The original photograph is displayed at the start of the presentation and the audience is asked "What does this photograph show?"

The incorrect answer that is always offered involves variations of: "German children under Adolf Hitler."

The correct answer is never offered.

Often, after the correct answer is explained in a lengthy lecture with additional photographs and films, some students still do not believe it.

The Confederate Flag has been denounced by comparing it to the Nazi Swastika Flag.  If the current American Flag (the Stars and Stripes) is compared with the Swastika Flag under the National Socialist German workers Party, then similarities are visible that are more shocking. Socialists in the USA used the American flag to originate the Nazi salute, robotic group-chanting to flags, Nazism, flag fanaticism, and the modern swastika as "S" symbolism for "Socialism." The socialist Pledgeophiles wanted government to take children from parents, and wanted government to takeover all schools. When the government granted their wish, the government schools imposed segregation by law and taught racism as official policy. It set a horrid example for the world for three decades before the National Socialist German Workers' Party was formed and adopted similar behavior. The bad behavior of socialists in the USA outlasted the German National Socialists by decades. Even after official segregation ended in government schools, the socialist system imposed mandatory busing that destroyed neighborhoods and deepened hostilities.

Many people have marveled at Adolf Hilter's "hypnotic" powers and his propaganda skills, as if he was the first of his kind as head of the National Socialist German Workers Party. Adolf Hitler's propaganda had already been pioneered by Francis Bellamy, Edward Bellamy and American socialists. They put the government's fasciated flag over schools, in classrooms and everywhere.

They even worked to put flags (and chanting to flags) in churches in another eerie parallel followed later by socialists in Germany.

Francis Bellamy's original Columbus Day program was a blueprint of nationwide propaganda for socialism in government schools. They dictated daily robotic chanting.
