| Criminology and criminal justice are
areas of fascinating research. Critical criminology has evolved
over the past two decades and a number of new sub-branches have developed.
Most popular research would be improved by greater emphasis
on the branch of criminology known as "Minarchist Realism" or "Libertarian
Realism." http://rexcurry.net/criminology-criminal-justice.html Libertarian realism attempts to reconcile critical views with the social realities of crime and its impact on all individuals. It questions the common perception of government as a "crime fighter," and examines the many ways in which government aids and abets crime and criminality. It asks whether government is part of the problem, and not the solution. Government foments much more crime than it solves. It kills more people than it saves. It is the main source of crime and inspires crime in individuals. http://rexcurry.net/police-state.html Under Libertarian Realism government is studied as a criminal conglomerate, to be investigated using the methods of criminology. Minarchist realism promotes minimum government (examining how close everyone can progress toward eliminating government altogether), because government is the main source of crime, and justice is best served by constantly reducing the size and scope of government. It echoes the sentment of Thomas Paine: "That government is best which governs least." The noted criminologist and sociologist Dr. Rex Curry contributes to minarchist realism and he has pointed out that the worst murderers in history arose in the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): 62 million dead under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; 49 milliion under the Peoples' Republic of China; 21 million under the National Socialist German Workers' Party. He never defended anyone as murderous as governments and government officials. Government and socialism make the worst homicide defendant seem angelic in comparison. Government also evades criminal justice. The so-called "War on Drugs" is another example of how government causes more death and destruction than it prevents. Modern prohibition is a recidivist act by a government (and government employees) that was unpunished and unrepentent after its criminality in old prohibition (alcohol prohibition). Many of the government employees under old prohibition were promoted in their ever-growing bureaucracies into other newer expansions of government violence. Radical libertarianism has tried to explain how socialism places particular stress on all individuals, women or men, and to explicate the role of government dominance in general criminality. Libertarian realists recognize that predatory crimes are not revolutionary acts other than when they are large-scale criminal acts committed by government and government officials. The only proper purpose of government is to protect people from violence and theft. Crime is an overwhelming problem perpetrated foremost by government and politicians against individuals in a society. Regardless of its origins, according to libertarian realists, crime must be dealt with by individuals protecting themselves from all criminals, be they street thugs or government employees. Minarchists remind readers that the second amendment was not intended to protect recreational hunting; it was intended for individuals to protect themselves from their own government. http://rexcurry.net/guncom.html Radical Libertarianism provides a comparison to radical feminism. According to the book "Introduction to Criminal Justice" by Larry J. Siegel and Joseph J. Senna, radical feminism has tried to explain how capitalism places particular stress on women and to explicate the role of male dominance in female criminality. Siegel and Senna discuss "radical feminism" in conjunction with "left realism." The Siegel/Senna book was the first textbook used by Professor Rex Curry as a college instructor in criminal justice and it inspired some of Dr. Curry's work in the field of minarchist realism. Wikpedia is helping to announce Dr. Curry's criminology work in minarchist realism and libertarian realism. Peacemaking criminology views crime as just one form of violence among many that are caused or exacerbated by government, such as war, genocide and democide. Peacemakers call for universal recognition in justice of individual rights and property rights as a means of eliminating anti social acts. They argue that the old methods of government are a failure and that new methods must be recognized wherein the government is not the initiator of violence against non-violent acts among consenting adults. When statists insult libertarian ideas and claim that the crime rate dropped in the 1990s because the number of people in prison was at an all-time high, libertarian peacemakers counter by citing studies showing that imprisonment rates are not related to crime rates (especially for non-violent acts that should not be considered "crimes" at all), and that no consistent finding has been reached that locking peaceful people up helps reduce crimes, and that upward of two-thirds of all prison inmates recidivate soon after their release. Liberty criminology and Peacemaking criminology serve as the basis of the restorative justice perspective. Rather than being adversarial and punitive, the justice system should strive to restore damaged individuals and their rights. Harsh punishments have become the norm. The free-market economy provides many alternatives including arbitration, mediation, restitution, insurance, self-defense tools, private security, and even private court systems. This call for justice has helped to focus attention on the plight of individuals when they confront government officials, governments, and the justice system. Programs that have developed as a result include inexpensive methods of protection for the indigent and everyone through capitalism, laws protecting Second Amendment rights, and private institutions to aid victims of government abuse. Another way in which government spreads criminality is by taking over education, and by operating government schools (socialist schools). That topic will be addressed in additional articles. 
Can anyone explain "Why They Kill"? Some books argue that "violent socialization" (aka violentization) is the source of crime. It can involve brutalization and belligerance. Other books argue that poverty shares blame. Socialism causes widespread poverty, and it has even been used deliberately to commit murder by causing widespread famine (as in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and in the Peoples' Republic of China). Socialism is violent socialization. It involves brutalization and belligerance (war). In 1939, Germany under the National Socialist German Workers' Party joined as allies with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics to invade Poland in a pact to divide up Europe, spreading WWII. The worst death tolls even today: ~60 million under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; ~20 million under the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSGWP); ~50 million under the Peoples' Republic of China. Even after the German National Socialists ceased to exist, Soviet Socialism and the Peoples' Republic of China went on to kill even more millions. |

THE DOOMSDAY CLOCK OF SOCIALISM - symbolizes the threat of socialist shortages, poverty, misery, starvation, atrocities and mass slaughter. The closest it ever came to midnight was during the years occupied by the the hate-spewing radical paramilitary societies created in the socialist trio of atrocities (above). They killed more people than would three nuclear bombs. The world still has not rejected their philosophy of socialism and the deaths mount. The socialist Wholecaust occurred under the industrial armies of the socialist trio of atrocities (see http://rexcurry.net/socialists.jpg): the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, 62 million deaths, 1917-'87; the People's Republic of China, 35 million, 1949-'87; and the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, 21 million, 1933-'45 (numbers from Professor R. J. Rummel's article in the Encyclopedia of Genocide (1999)). In other words, they were not slaughtered in war by a foreign country invading, they were slaughtered by their own governments by the millions. Sometimes "I told you so" just doesn't seem to cut it. Socialists are nuclear bombs. Socialism is nuclear war. Concentration camps like Buchenwald and Auschwitz under the National Socialist German Workers’ Party are notorious. But who recalls murderously prolific death camps like Kolyma, Vorkuta and Magadan in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics? Forgotten is that the National Socialist German Workers’ Party and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics jointly invaded and partitioned Poland in 1939 under the notorious Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, that the Socialist Republics never renounced. Seven million died in Poland. Under the secret protocols of that pact, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and the Romanian provinces of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina were ceded to Stalin, as was eastern Poland. As a result of the War, Finland had its Karelian Peninsula torn away the Socialist Republics and 10 countries Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Yugoslavia suffered under the Socialist Republics for half a century. After the National Socialists drove into Prague, Czechoslovakia with little resistance, the British and French (On March 31, 1939) handed Poland an unsolicited war guarantee that was not honored later. Poland defied the National Socialists over Danzig, and were crushed. But because they had declared war on the National Socialists, though they had no plan to attack, the National Socialists, in April 1940, invaded Denmark and Norway, and in May, the Low Countries and France. In three weeks, the National Socialists threw the British off the continent at Dunkirk, and, in six weeks, crushed France. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics provided the National Socialists with all the food and fuel they had requested and the Socialist Republics declared Britain and France to be the aggressors against their National Socialist partners. Five months before the invasion of Poland, socialists in Italy had invaded little Albania. Even before then, in 1936, Japan invaded China. After WWII, China expanded the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was part): 62 million killed by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; 35 million killed by the Peoples’ Republic of China; 21 million killed by the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. Ayn Rand escaped the socialist Wholecaust. Born Alissa Rosenbaum, Rand came of age during the Socialist Revolution, witnessing its horrors. After working as a screenwriter in Hollywood, she went on to become a successful novelist and popular philosopher of reason and individualism, helping to inspire the modern libertarian movement.
