Peoples Action Party PAP of Singapore


A recent Opinion Editorials column gained attention for showing the swastika's modern use as overlapping S-shapes for "Socialism." The column, which exposed the British Union of Fascists and National Socialists and its logo (an S-shaped lightning bolt for "Socialists") led to new discoveries regarding symbolism in the Peoples Action Party (PAP) of Singapore.

Wikipedia is announcing the amazing discoveries concerning the PAP and the BUFNS. Recent articles at opinioneditorials.com report on the many references to the research on Wikipedia. Even Wikipedia's founder Jimbo Wales has publicly commented on Dr. Curry's influence on Wikipedia. His work is probably the most referenced historical research on Wikipedia. The work has been reviewed and verified by wikipedia writers. Some Wikipedia writers use Dr. Curry's work without attribution in apparent attempts to bolster their own credibility.

Of course, Wikipedia is a glorified anonymous bulletin board and is constantly changed, often at the hands of vandals and even neo-nazis. A recent web search for "British Union of Fascists and National Socialists" showed Dr. Curry's work at the top and indicated that no wikipedia article exists. Wikipedia gives the mis-impression that the BUFNS never existed, or that its name-change never occurred. It is common comic revisionist history air-brushed at wakipedia.

The PAP smeared its way onto the political scene in 1954 when it was formed by English-educated middle-class men who had returned to Singapore from Britain. The PAP became a member of the Socialist International. The PAP logo has a double connotation for "Singapore Socialists."  The S-letter is red and thereby consistent with the socialist symbolism of the color under German socialism, Soviet socialism, and Chinese socialism.

In the early 1950's, when the socialist symbolism was adopted in Singapore, the leader of the BUFNS (Oswald Mosley) was trying to revive his socialist movement in Britain and was still using the same S-shaped symbol for socialism in his Union Movement (UM).  Mosley had returned to the leadership of British national socialism by founding the UM in 1948 at a meeting in London's Farringdon Hall, where as many as fifty one separate groups came under the new umbrella. Mosley re-emerged as a candidate in 1959 in North Kensington (which included Notting Hill), in the first parliamentary election for him since 1931.

The gesture originated from national socialists in the United States in 1892 from the original Pledge of Allegiance written by Francis Bellamy, as shown in the historical discoveries of Dr. Rex Curry. It was part of a scheme for government to take over all education and to place flags over each school, and to compel robotic chanting daily in worship of government for twelve years of every child's life. It still occurs today in some oddball states in the USA, though the gesture has changed.

From national socialists in the USA, the straight-arm salute spread worldwide to: the National Socialists German Workers' Party; the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; the British Union of Fascists and National Socialists; the Peoples' Action Party; the Peoples' Republic of China. The American salute is still used in Russia and in the Peoples' Republic of China and elsewhere.

Behind it was the same dogma that led to the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): 60 million slaughtered under the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics;  50 million under the Peoples' Republic of China; 20 million under the National Socialist German Workers' Party.  It was the worst slaughter in the history of the world. It was so bad that Holocaust Museums could quintuple in size by including Wholecaust museums.

The PAP eventually played copycat to the United States again in adopting a hand-over-the-heart gesture. PAP members continue to wear uniforms at their Party meetings, dressing all in the same color and clothing.

This question arises: Did Singapore and Korea both begin with the American socialist salute (the stiff-arm salute) and then switch (following the lead of government in the U.S.) to the hand-over-the-heart? Preliminary research indicates that Korea and Singapore both used the stiff-armed American socialist salute at some time in the past.  

The PAP initially adopted a traditional socialist party organization together with a vanguard cadre from its socialist-leaning faction in 1958. The PAP formed a joint alliance with the so-called communists against colonialism in Singapore during the party's early years.

Today, the PAP considers itself as subscribing to socialist ideologies. The PAP has been the ruling political party in Singapore since 1959 and thus has a large role in the formation of the government of Singapore. From the 1963 general elections onwards, the PAP has dominated Singapore's parliament and politics. The PAP has held the overwhelming majority of seats in Parliament since 1966, when the opposition Barisan Sosialis (Socialist Front), another socialist group that split from PAP in 1961, resigned from Parliament after winning 13 seats following the 1963 state elections, which itself occurred months after a number of their leaders had been arrested in Operation Coldstore. The resignation left the PAP as the only major political party.

In 1976 the PAP resigned from the Socialist International, after the Dutch Labour Party had proposed to expel the party.

In January 1991, the PAP introduced the White Paper on Shared Values, which tried to create a national ideology and institutionalize what it calls "Asian values". The party also has 'rejected' what they considered "Western-style liberal democracy."

PAP members at party rallies have sometimes worn a "uniform" of white shirts and white trousers.

No opposition is allowed in Singapore.

In the 2006 Singapore general election, the PAP won 82 of the 84 elected seats in the Parliament of Singapore.

During the PAP's existence, the socialist dogma of Union of Soviet Socialist Republics caused the USSR to collapse internally.  That, and other developments, have educated people about the horrors of the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part).

In spite of socialist dogma of political parties like the PAP, free-markets have continued to grow and prosper. Singapore frequently ranks extremely highly on indices of "economic freedom."

Lee Kuan Yew has also said in 1992: "Through Hong Kong watching, I concluded that state welfare and subsidies blunted the individual's drive to succeed. I watched with amazement the ease with which Hong Kong workers adjusted their salaries upwards in boom times and downwards in recessions." Yew resolved to reverse course on the welfare policies which his socialist dogma had inherited or copied from British socialists.

The USA is still the worst example in the world of bizarre laws that require robotic chanting to a national flag in government schools (socialist schools) every day for 12 years.

The Bellamys promoted a government takeover of schools, the placement of flags at schools, and robotic chanting of the pledge to the flag with the old notorious gesture. When the government granted their wishes, the government schools imposed segregation by law and taught racism as official government policy. The schools mandated the robotic chanting of the pledge with the straight-arm salute and persecuted and expelled children who would not comply, arrested parents, and even took children from parents on allegations of "unfit parenting."  There were acts of violence and lynchings.

The USA still follows similar anti libertarian policies promoted by the Bellamys. Many socialist policies caused the USA's big, expensive, oppressive government, its aggressive military socialism, and its growing police state. It caused the Great Socialist Depression (from the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act 1930 etc) that persisted and even lasted through U.S. involvement in WWII. The Pledge still exists along with laws mandating that teachers lead the robotic chanting every day for twelve years of each child's life (though the salute was altered). The government still owns and operates schools, including the same schools that imposed segregation by law and taught racism as official government policy.  That policy even outlasted the National Socialist German Workers' Party by over 15 years. After segregation in government's schools ended, the Bellamy legacy caused more police-state racism of forced busing that destroyed communities and neighborhoods, and deepened hostilities. Those schools still exist.  Infants are given social security numbers (socialist slave numbers from 1935 during the NSGWP) that track and tax everyone for life.  Government schools (socialist schools) demand the numbers for enrollment.

The pledge and the flag have become examples of how dangerous government schools are (and how dangerous government is in general).  The brainwashing ritual has indoctrinated many students of government schools with national socialist propaganda.

PAP Logo Has Its Roots In Fascism & National Socialism?

The British Union of Fascists, formed in 1932 has the same “lightning bolt” in its logo, identical to the one on the PAP logo.

He explains in his article that the "lightning bolt" in the PAP logo is red by the representation of socialist symbolism. And that it is influenced by German and Soviet socialist / communist ideology [under the National Socialist German Workers Party and the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics]. The “S-shaped lightning bolt” stands for “socialists”, similar with the shape of the Swastika, which is also the same “S-shape” overlapped.

The PAP allegedly was also a member of Socialist International.

Perhaps it should be noted that factions within the PAP split in 1961 to form another political party; the Barisan Socialis (BS), also known as the Socialist Front (SF). The latter had most its leaders arrested in 1963 for “communist activities”.

Why does the present PAP still continue to use the “lightning bolt”, which has its origins in socialism, communism and fascism, as part of its logo?

It is interesting to note that the description of the logo on the PAP website does not include explanation for the "lightning bolt".

Malaysia as a unified state did not exist until 1963. Previously, a set of colonies were established by the United Kingdom from the late-18th century.. This group of colonies was known as British Malaya until its dissolution in 1946, when it was reorganized as the Malayan Union. Due to widespread opposition, it was reorganized again as the Federation of Malaya in 1948 and later gained independence on 31 August 1957. Singapore, Sarawak, British North Borneo and the Federation of Malaya joined to form Malaysia on 16 September 1963. The early years of the new union were marred by an armed conflict with Indonesia and the expulsion of Singapore on 9 August 1965.

(Mrdice, by the way, gives up on editing Wikipedia in early 2004, leaving behind a legacy of zip-and-run edits where he accuses, demands, dictates and runs away, with none of that boring, time-wasting need to show any authority or reputation with his subject.)

And lo and behold, that little nugget of information is lost, the work of four people working at odds with each other over a battle, all of them located all over the world, fighting over what actually might be a real fact.

Wakipedia is a constant battleground of neo-nazis and others who help neo-nazis hide links between the swastika and socialism.  Many wikilings go by names that appear designed to help them hide from what they do, such as "The Epopt," "Matt Crypto," and a person who refers to himself as "The Most Honourably Great Sir Dr. Robert C Prenic the 3rd, all Adademic Degrees," (raising the question of whether Phrenic is delusional, or how much so).  Phrenic presumably does NOT have a doctorate degree, but he makes absurd comments about people who DO have doctorate degrees (and actual knowledge of the topic at hand).

Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets") has gained a lot of interest from Wikipedia readers regarding Dr. Curry's discovery that the flag used by the National Socialist German Workers' Party (the swastika flag) was altered to incorporate alphabetic symbolism. The swastika, although it was an ancient symbol, was used sometimes by the National Socialist German Workers Party to represent overlapping "S" letters for their "socialism."

The same symbolism is shown in the bizarre signature of the leader of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, which he altered to use the same stylized "S" letter for "socialist"; He turned the symbol 45 degrees to the horizontal and oriented it in the S direction; and similar alphabetic symbolism was used for the "SS" Division and similar alphabetic symbolism still shows on Volkswagens.

The flag salute under German National Socialists originated from the USA's early Pledge of Allegiance. The original pledge began with a military salute that then stretched out toward the flag. In actual use, the second part of the gesture was performed with a straight arm and palm down by disinterested children perfunctorily performing the forced ritual chanting by extending the initial military salute, as shown by Professor Curry. Due to the way that both gestures were used sequentially in the pledge, the military salute led to the hard, stylized salute of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSGWP). The NSGWP salute is an extended military salute via the USA's pledge.

The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) listings for the phrase "Roman salute" support Dr. Curry's discoveries. From its foundation in October 1932 up to 1935, the British Union of Fascists used as its symbol a fasces. The National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSGWP) originally was named the "German Workers' Party."  Later, the name was changed to add "National Socialist" and the swastika was adopted and came to represent "S" letters for "Socialist."

In his Pulitzer prize winning biography "Lindbergh," author A. Scott Berg also agrees with Dr. Curry's assertion that photographs of Americans performing the early Pledge salute were used to imply cooperation with the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSGWP). For a long time, Dr. Curry has exposed widespread ignorance in the media and in the general public about what the 4-letter abbreviation abbreviates. That etymological ignorance has grown through overuse of the hackneyed shorthand term in print and in government schools (socialist schools).  Dr. Curry advocated that the shorthand term should be avoided, unless it is used in conjunction with the full actual name of the Party. The American socialist Francis Bellamy was cousin and cohort to Edward Bellamy, another famous socialist and the author of the novel "Looking Backward." Edward's book was an international bestseller, translated into every major language (including Russian, German and Chinese). The Bellamy dogma inspired the "Nationalism" movement in the USA, Germany and worldwide. Edward inspired the creation of the Nationalist Party. Edward and Francis supported the Nationalist Magazine, the Nationalist Educational Association, and Nationalist Clubs everywhere.

There may be other parallels with the America First Committee, in that Bellamy nationalists focused on nationalism (“my country over others”), nativism, rabid patriotism (e.g. Pledges of Allegiance in government schools with the original straight-arm salute), a government takeover of schools, and desires for government ownership and control of everything.  They wanted to nationalize everything and they wanted all of society to ape the military and they touted "military socialism" and the "industrial army."  

The Bellamys and the pledge inspired socialists worldwide, and in the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): 62 million slaughtered under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; 49 million slaughtered under the Peoples' Republic of China; 21 million slaughtered under the National Socialist German Workers' Party.

The National Socialist German Workers' Party clearly patterned itself upon the National Socialism promoted by socialists in the USA during the three decades before the NSGWP existed.

Swastikas & Nazis exposed by British Group, Wikipedia, FOTW & Dr. Rex Curry

A British Union is helping to expose the swastika's modern use as overlapping S-shapes for "Socialism." The BUF (British Union of Fascists) used a flag that looks odd at first glance, but a closer view reveals a dark story from Britain's past.

From 1932 to 1935, the BUF flag bore a fasces. In 1935, the movement was renamed "British Union of Fascists and National Socialists" (BUFNS) in order to align itself more with German National Socialism, and the fasces was replaced by an S-shaped lightning bolt symbol.

The BUF is more proof that the swastika, although ancient, was used as alphabetic symbolism for socialism under the National Socialist German Workers' Party. It is changing the way  people think about the swastika. Similar stylized lettering was common under German socialism and in the bizarre signature of the NSGWP's leader, in his SS Division, on the Trabant car logo, and similar alphabetic symbolism still shows on Volkswagens. The BUF adopted a similar version of the same stylized alphabet and lightning bolt letters used by German socialists for "Socialism."

The research behind the new discoveries by the cryptologist Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets") is referenced on Wikipedia and in the vexillological group Flags Of The World (FOTW).  Recent articles at opinioneditorials.com report on the many references to Dr. Curry's research on Wikipedia. Wikipedia changes by the millisecond and that is why it is known as "wakipedia" and some wakipedia writers are known as "wikilings." In a recent view, wakipedia's article referred to the British Union as the "British Union of Fascists" (BUF) only and hid the fact that the name changed to the British Union of Fascists and National Socialists (BUFNS). The cover-up ties into wikilings who promote widespread public ignorance that the Nazis did not call themselves Nazis (they called themselves socialists, just as their name indicates). Wikilings don't want you to know that the BUF started calling themselves "socialists," too.

In a similar vein, wikilings won't write that the BUF logo started as a fasces, but was updated when the BUF became BUFNS and the group adopted the label "socialist" with an S-shaped lightning bolt symbol, mimicking the swastika's S-shape for "socialist" in the National Socialist German Workers' Party.  In a recent view, wakipedia did not even note the "S" shape for the "BUF" symbol (why would wakipedia note the reason for the symbol's change when wakipedia does not even mention the BUFNS' name change?).

As the BUFNS leader said "The alternative name for the modern Movement is the National Socialism used in Germany. But the German Movement also is known throughout the outside world as Fascist, which is the name commonly used to describe the phenomenon of the modern Movement whether in Britain, Germany or Italy. National Socialism and Fascism in my view are the same Movement, finding different expressions in different countries in accord with different national and racial characteristics. For seven years in the Labour Party before founding Fascism in Britain, I fought for a National Socialist Policy in contradistinction to the International Socialism of that Party." (1936 BUFNS publication which answers 100 questions about Oswald Mosley).

Wakipedia is often copied brainlessly by other wannabe encyclopedias.  It is fortunate that the lack of information in wakipedia's BUF article has not been repeated much.....yet.  Any improvements to the BUF article risk deletion.

Many people have marveled at Adolf Hilter's "hypnotic" powers and his propaganda skills, as if he was the first of his kind as head of the National Socialist German Workers Party. In addition to the notorious salute, American socialists (e.g. Edward Bellamy and Francis Bellamy teamed with the Theosophical Society and Freemasons) also bear some blame for the notorious symbol usd by the National Socialist German Workers Party. The same symbol was used by the Theosophical Society during the time when the Bellamys, Freemasons and the Theosophical Society worked together.
